‘Purple Passion Collection’ is an exquisite mix of three stunning Alstroemeria. The collection includes ‘Moon’, ‘Paraiso’ and ‘Passion’, which all boast masses of flowers in shades of lilac, maroon and white from June until December. Each petal is intricately marked and contrasts beautifully against its neat mounds of fresh green foliage. Ideal for planting in containers, exotic themed borders and cut flower gardens, these Peruvian Lily’s would also work wonderfully in low maintenance schemes and as a stand-alone specimen shrub. Pot up Alstroemeria plants and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When all risk of frost has passed, plant Peruvian Lilies in a sunny or semi shaded position in fertile, moist, well drained soil. Alternatively, plant Alstroemeria in patio containers in soil based compost such as John Innes No.3. These tall Alstroemeria plants will appreciate a climbing frame or similar support to protect their tall stems. Insert the support into the ground prior to planting and tie the stems in with soft twine throughout the growing season.
