‘Crispy wave’ is a textural houseplant that generates attractive frilly leaflets, that form in upward fronds in a shade of glossy green. Fabulous for adding to a steamy bathroom, downstairs loo or conservatory, position your Asplenium in semi shade where it can thrive to a maximum height of 1.5m, along with a spread of 1m. A hybrid of our native Bird’s Nest Fern, Asplenium ‘Crispy Wave’ has fresh green,wavy fronds which rise straight upwards from a neat rosette Grow in bright, indirect light, avoiding strong, direct, sunlight. Maintain the temperature above 13°C. Provide high humidity by regular misting. Water regularly between spring and autumn when the first couple of centimetres of compost have dried out, feeding during the growing season with a balanced houseplant feed. Reduce watering in the winter and avoid draughts.
