‘Bowen Bryant’ is a wonderful Camellia, that is ready to flower from March to May. It generates an abundance of semi double, pale pink blooms, that each feature a prominent yellow centre. Cloaking a bushy growing habit of deep green foliage, this hardy shrub is fantastic for creating a striking focal point and will sit well in cottage and low maintenance themed gardens. Happy to develop in semi shade, watch it thrive to a height of 4m, along with a spread of 2.5m. Soft pink blooms open from pointed buds in spring, contrasting beautifully with the dark green foliage. Camellia x williamsii ‘Bowen Bryant’ is a particularly elegant variety with a strong-growing, upright habit. Camellia plants require a moist, well drained, acid soil in a sheltered, shaded position. In areas where acid soil does not naturally occur, grow Camellia plants in patio containers using a mix of ericaceous compost and John Innes No. 3 and position in dappled shade.
