Super cost-effective Rose ‘Mellgold’ (Shrub Rose)Rosa

‘Mellgold’ is a gorgeous Rose, that is ready to bloom from June until November. It produces masses of scented, double flowers, that are a vibrant yellow in colour. Smothering a dwarf standard growing habit of fresh green foliage, this hardy shrub is ideal for growing in patio pots, cut flower, low maintenance and cottage gardening schemes. This bushy shrub rose makes an ideal container variety, and looks equally good planted in the mixed herbaceous border, or a rose bed. Plant roses at the earliest opportunity following delivery. To avoid the risk from the build-up of harmful soil organisms and disease, choose an open position in full sun that has not been planted with roses in recent years. Roses enjoy a rich, fertile, well drained soil. Dig in plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting roses and add a small handful of granular fertiliser to the planting hole.
