The HAY Apex clamp lamp represents British designer John Tree’s contemporary interpretation of the classic banker’s light – you know those green-shaded lamps you would imagine in an old mahogany-panelled study. In Apex, Tree has skillfully blended these traditional references with a modern design language: the lamp features a slender silhouette and a folded metal shade that resembles a peaked roof, which also serves as the muse for the lamp’s name. What’s more, the shade boasts a 360-degree rotation capability, enabling users to effortlessly adjust the light to suit their specific needs.
