The first club root resistant red cabbage variety (there are several races of club root and Lodero is resistant to the most common of them). Ideally it should be sown from late April to late May and harvested from late September to early November (or until the first frosts). It produces bright red, small to medium-sized heads that are very tasty and ideal for pickling or cooking.
