Boasting a combination of olive, bronze and pink coloured spiky foliage, these Cabbage Palms work well in contemporary patio pots, coastal and urban themed spaces, as well as conservatories. Plant in semi shade and watch them thrive to a height of 4m, as well as spread to around 1.5m. These cabbage palms instantly create an exotic statement with their vibrant, spiky evergreen foliage. Grow on in frost free conditions and acclimatise to the outdoors over 7-10 days before planting out. Grow Cordylines on fertile, well drained soil. Choose a sheltered position in full sun. Cordylines are particularly well suited to mild coastal locations but do enjoy a fertile soil, so it is well worth incorporating some well rotted manure into the soil when planting.
