All blooming from May until July, you will witness a profusion of ruffled large flowers, that boast shades of hot pink, rose and cream. Smothering bushy growing habits of fresh green foliage, they would be perfect for planting in cottage and cut flower gardens, as well as within spacious borders. Happy to progress in partial shade, watch them flourish to a height and spread of 90cm. Bare roots should be planted at the earliest opportunity following delivery. Grow peonies in a sunny or semi shaded position on fertile, moist, well drained soil. Peony plants prefer a heavy soil that is rich in organic matter. Improve the soil prior to planting by adding plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost prior to planting. Plant herbaceous peonies so that the top of the crown is just 5cm (2”) below the soil surface, taking care not to plant too deeply as this may prevent or delay peonies from flowering.
