Calla palustris is a great hardy perennial, that is ready to bloom from June to August. It produces bundles of arum-like, fragrant white flowers, that elegantly decorate a clump forming habit of fresh green foliage. Each glossy, heart-shaped leaflet gracefully creates natural movement, adding texture and life into your garden. Ideal for planting in bogs and water gardens, keep it positioned in direct sunlight where it will develop to a height of 25cm, along with a spread of 60cm. Grow Calla in wet soil and the shallow margins of ponds to a maximum depth of 15cm (6″) below water level. Although Bog Arum can be grown in semi shade it will produce the best display when grown in full sun.
