‘Strawberry Swirl’ is a superb Camellia, that is ready to bloom from October to January. It generates masses of baby pink flowers, that each feature a prominent yellow centre. They smother a compact growing mound of glossy green foliage and create a wonderful Summer display. Easy to care for and a great shrub for growing up walls, be sure to incorporate into patio containers, woodland and low maintenance gardening schemes, as well as using as attractive hedging! Camellia plants require a moist, well drained, acid soil in a sheltered, shaded position. In areas where acid soil does not naturally occur, grow Camellia plants in patio containers using a mix of ericaceous compost and John Innes No. 3 and position in dappled shade.
