‘Angel Gold’ is a wonderful new Physocarpus, that is ready to bloom from May until July. It generates a profusion of frothy white flowers, that top a bushy growing habit of lime green/gold foliage. Ideal for adding vibrancy into dull outdoor spaces, be sure to incorporate into borders, cottage and woodland themed landscapes. Happy to develop in partial shade, watch it flourish to a height of 250cm, along with a spread of 150cm. Plant Physocarpus in a fertile, moist, well-drained soil in full sun or semi-shade. Physocarpus plants prefer an acid to neutral soil, but will tolerate more alkaline soils, although may they may become chlorotic in very chalky areas. Incorporate organic matter such as well-rotted manure or compost into the soil prior to planting.
