‘Compassion’ is an elegant Rosa that blooms from June until October. It boasts an abundance of double, pale pink-apricot flowers, that smother its vigorous growing habit of trailing stems of deep green, glossy foliage. Much loved for its dramatic display, be sure to incorporate into cottage and scented gardening schemes, as well as training along obelisks, trellis and fences. Position in a semi shaded spot and watch it thrive to a height of 3m! This modern, hybrid tea climbing rose makes a fabulous repeat-flowering display throughout summer. The shapely, double blooms are pink with a flush of apricot, releasing a powerful, sweet fragrance. Plant roses at the earliest opportunity following delivery. To avoid the risk from the build-up of harmful soil organisms and disease, choose an open position in full sun that has not been planted with roses in recent years. Roses enjoy a rich, fertile, well drained soil. Dig in plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting roses and add a small handful of granular fertiliser to the planting hole.
