Liriodendron tulipifera, grown for its magnificent large, glossy foliage, makes an exceptionally eye-catching tree for the larger garden. Grow Tulip Trees in a sunny or semi shaded position. Plant Liriodendron tulipifera in a rich, moist, well drained, neutral to slightly acid soil. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to improve the soil prior to planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply.
