This Scarlet Willow has all the well known features of this species but with the additional bonus of its vibrant, young red stems in winter. Salix alba ‘Chermesina’ works well in a hedgerow and trimming regularly will encourage more red shoots to appear. This tree is ideal for conditions with poor drainage that tend to flood where it will happily grow.Height: 12m (39′).
