‘Bronze Flamingo’ is an elegant new Phlomis, that is ready to bloom from June until September. It generates bundles of lengthy spires, that are cloaked in dome-shaped lilac flowers, amongst slender red stems and a compact growing mound of fresh green thick leaflets. A textural and attractive perennial, be sure to incorporate into cottage, cut flower, alpine and low maintenance gardening schemes and keep angled in direct sunlight. Watch it flourish to a height and spread of 100cm. Phlomis tuberosa ‘Bronze Flamingo’ is an unusual but hardworking pink phlomis variety that is ideal for sunny borders, gravel gardens and prairie planting. Grow Phlomis in a sunny position in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Seedheads can be cut back to the base in spring once new growth begins to show. Overcrowded clumps can be divided in spring.
