With a mini patio fruit tree collection, you’ll get the best of both worlds: the beauty of a garden and the reward of fresh, homegrown fruit right at your fingertips—without the need for a sprawling garden.

The long bell shaped fruits with firm flesh can be eaten hard or fully ripe with a smooth juicy flavour. Rootstock: Quince A
  • Cherry ‘Sylvia’ – Self-Fertile – Eating Cherry – This dwarf cherry tree is perfect for the patio where it makes a great focal point in spring as pale pink cherry blossom cloaks the branches. Rootstock: Gisella 6

Please note: Patio trees are derived from clonal selections for dwarfism which ensures a particularly compact growth habit of around 1m (39″) in height.

This collection of miniature fruit trees allows you to create your very own orchard regardless of the size of your garden. The trees can be planted in patio containers, where their dwarf habit will limit growth to a mere 1m (3’3″). Plant patio fruit trees in 60cm (2’) diameter containers using a good quality compost such as John innes No.3. Alternatively plant them in any well drained soil in a sheltered sunny position. Plant fruit trees at their original soil level, firm them into the ground and water well.
