This robust rambling rose produces long, arching canes adorned with lush, green foliage, capable of growing to impressive heights. In early summer, the stems are adorned with large clusters of small, semi-double white flowers, each featuring a central mass of golden-yellow stamens. The blooms exude a captivating musk fragrance. After flowering, vibrant orange-red hips emerge. Rose ‘Bobbie James’ is perfect for draping over sheds, buildings, or garden structures, and can even climb through tall trees, offering a striking display when in full bloom. With its vigorous growth, this rose needs ample space to thrive. Height and spread: 8m (26′). Plant roses at the earliest opportunity following delivery. To avoid the risk from the build-up of harmful soil organisms and disease, choose an open position in full sun that has not been planted with roses in recent years. Roses enjoy a rich, fertile, well drained soil. Dig in plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting roses and add a small handful of granular fertiliser to the planting hole.
