‘Magic Seduction Annie’s Blue’ is a superb Hydrangea, that is ready to flower from July until October. It generates an abundance of lace cap pink and blue blooms, that elegantly top a spherical growing habit of deep green foliage. Ideal for growing in borders, cut flower and cottage gardening schemes, this hardy shrub thrives in dappled shade and will develop to a great height and spread of 120cm. Flattened panicles of lacecap blooms decorate this branching deciduous shrub in summer. The flower are deep blue on acid soils, becoming more pink on soils will less acidity. Hydrangea serrata prefers a sunny or semi shaded position, with shelter from cold, drying winds. Grow hydrangea plants in any rich fertile, moist soil. Improve the soil prior to planting by adding with plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost, ensuring that it is mixed in thoroughly and deeply. Alternatively plant hydrangea serrata in patio containers in soil based compost such as John Innes No. 3.
