‘Magic Fountains Lavender’ is a gorgeous Delphinium, that is ready to flower from June until August. It generates an abundance of semi-double purple blooms, that smother upright, lengthy green stems, amongst a clump forming habit of fresh green foliage. Modern and clean in appearance, yet high in impact, be sure to incorporate into urban, cut flower and cottage themed landscapes. Happy to develop in full sun, watch it progress in height to 90cm, along with a spread of 45cm. The stately spires of Delphinium are indispensable for creating height and structure in summer borders. This compact variety boasts all of the vertical drama that you would expect, but at just a fraction of the height! Pot up delphinium plants using free-draining compost, and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. Once they are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting them outdoors. Choose a sunny position that is sheltered from strong winds, on moist, well drained soil. Protect young delphiniums from slugs and snails.
