We’ve curated a stunning collection of 5 of our favorite double-flowered hardy Geraniums, each chosen for its vibrant colour and exceptional garden performance. These varieties showcase blooms with multiple layers of petals, creating a striking display. Hardy Geraniums are a joy in the summer, with their finely divided foliage forming neat mounds that beautifully soften the edges of perennial borders. These resilient Cranesbills are an essential addition to any cottage garden design. Height and spread: 45cm (18″). The collection includes: Geranium pratense ‘Plenum Violaceum’ – A prized RHS AGM variety with deep violet double blooms. Geranium ‘Double Jewel’ – Compact plants with double white blooms and purple-pink centres. Geranium himalayense ‘Birch Double’ – Double purple-pink flowers stand tall above serrated foliage, which turns red and orange in autumn. Geranium pratense ‘Plenum Caeruleum’ – Delicate blue double flowers with a pink flush. Geranium pratense ‘Summer Skies’ – A tough and undemanding perennial with a delicate appearance. Plant hardy geraniums in any well drained soil, in sun or semi-shade. Position the bareroot so that the crown of the plant is just a few cm below soil level. Water well to settle the soil around the roots.
