‘Must See’ is a standout Lily, that is ready to bloom from June until September. It generates masses of speckled, tropical looking flowers, that change their colour from a glossy cream to a fiery orange. Easy to care for and happy to develop in direct sunlight, be sure to plant up in a modern patio container, cottage and cut flower gardening scheme for a vibrant summer display. Watch it thrive to a height of 100cm, along with a spread of 30cm. This unusual Asiatic lily is a real curiosity. Lily ‘Must See’ boasts semi-double flowers, each in varying shades of tangerine, white, cream and lime green, all marked with brown speckles. Asiatic lilies prefer a moist, free draining, neutral to acid soil that is rich in organic matter. Prior to planting, add plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil to give your lilies the best start. When growing lilies in containers, use a loam based compost such as John Innes No.2. Lily bulbs should be planted at a depth of approximately 3 times their own height and 15cm (6″) apart. Planting deeply helps to protect the bulb during particularly hot periods. Choose a sheltered, sunny position where lilies will grow with their heads in the sun and their roots in the shade.
