Pond planting has never been easier! This elegant white Water lily comes pre-planted in its own sturdy planting basket. The rhizome is submerged in aquatic compost and topped off with gravel for a professional finish. All you need to do is submerge it into your pond or water barrel and wait for the glamorous blooms to appear.
Water Lilies are a superb addition to ponds where the water is still, well away from pumps and fountains. Grow waterlilies in still water away from splashing fountains. Gently lower containers into the water and position them on temporary supports such as bricks so that they sit just 20cm (8”) below the surface of the water. As the leaves grow to rest on the water surface, the container can be gradually lowered to its final depth below the water.
