This superb Water Plantain is just what you need for freshening up pond edges and water gardens. It boasts masses of large, grey-green leaflets, that are beautifully accompanied by a flurry of small pink flowers from July until September. Easy to care for and happy to develop in semi shade, watch it progress to a height of 90cm, along with a spread of 45cm. Plant Alisma in boggy soil or submerged in the shallow margins of ponds, to a maximum depth of 15cm (6″) below water level. Choose a position in sun or semi-shade.
