Hebe ‘Silver Queen’, an RHS Award of Garden Merit winner, is an evergreen shrub that boasts striking variegated foliage. Its glossy green leaves are beautifully edged with creamy-yellow margins, maintaining vibrant colour throughout the year. In summer, it produces short, spiky blooms in shades of violet and pale lilac. Compact and tidy, Hebe ‘Silver Queen’ forms a neat dome shape, making it ideal for patio containers or the front of borders. Height and spread: 1m (39″). Grow Hebe plants in moist, well drained, light sandy soil. Avoid planting Hebes on acid soils. Choose a position in full sun or semi shade and sheltered from strong winds.
