HAY’s Pyramid café table, originally designed by Wim Rietveld for Ahrend in the 1950s, was reintroduced in 2017 through a collaboration between HAY and Ahrend. The sleek, square-shaped Pyramid café table 21 is ideal for both café settings and as a small dining table in compact homes.
Featuring angular steel frames and sturdy wooden tops, the Pyramid collection embodied the cutting-edge steel design of the 1950s and has maintained its timeless appeal ever since. Over the decades, these pieces have become familiar fixtures in both public spaces and private homes. The reissued furniture by HAY now uses an eco-friendly water-based lacquer.
