The San Miguel half pint glass is Toughened, CE marked, and nucleated. Nucleation is formed by “scratched” markings in the inner bottom of the glass.
These allow the gas in the beer to be released more quickly and ensures that the “head” on the beer is retained for longer.
Without nucleation the beer would appear to be flat after a few minutes.
