‘Margaret Davis’ is a stunning Camellia, that is ready to flower from February until May. It generates a profusion of double, ruffled blooms, that are cream in colour, with a raspberry rippled edge! They smother a bushy growing habit of deep green leaflets. Fabulous for using as privacy screening/hedging and ideal for growing in patio pots and woodland themed landscapes. Happy to progress in dappled shade, watch it thrive to a height and spread of 4m. Not much is happening in the garden in February, so this early flowering, exquisitely bi-coloured Camellia comes as a real treat. Camellia plants require a moist, well drained, acid soil in a sheltered, shaded position. In areas where acid soil does not naturally occur, grow Camellia plants in patio containers using a mix of ericaceous compost and John Innes No. 3 and position in dappled shade.
