A superb hardy perennial that is easy to grow in any pond size, this Nymphaea not only provides you with a vibrant summer display of blooms, but also ensures safety for aquatic wildlife. It will flower from June until October and enjoy direct sunlight to flourish, easily position your trio in any water garden and watch it make a wonderful addition to your pond. Water features add an extra dimension to gardens, and with this pond kit you can enjoy their calming influence in even the smallest of spaces. Empty the soil mix into the aquatic planting basket, and plant the rhizomes so that the growing point sits just below the soil surface. Cover the surface of the soil with the gravel to hold the compost in place. It is recommended that the planting basket is gently submerged in a bucket of water to allow the compost to become completely soaked through. This will allow any loose compost to float to the surface before you position it in the main planting bowl. Place the planting bowl in its final position – choose a sunny or lightly shaded spot. Transfer the planting basket to the bowl and then gently fill with water.
