Carl Hansen & Søn’s BM1871 outdoor bench is part of Børge Mogensen’s reinterpreted Deck Chair range, created by the legendary designer in the late 1960s. The sleek BM1871 garden bench exudes the simple functionality of the Shaker style, and its minimalistic form captures the eye. Over the years, natural patina adds even more character to the piece as the teak turns a beautiful silver hue.
An elegant nod to the relaxed aesthetics of picnic tables, the BM1871 bench was designed to accompany the BM1771 outdoor dining table. The clever bench can easily be combined with other styles as well and is a charming addition to both the garden and the terrace as such. The folding bench is also easy to store – the furniture in the collection can even be neatly hung on the wall using the wall-mounted BM527OS rack.
