‘Firecracker’ is a showy Polyanthus that produces large, fiery red flowers from March until June. They perch neatly above rosettes of semi-evergreen foliage and will develop in height and spread to around 23cm. Ideal for brightening up dull borders, patio areas and cottage gardens, be sure to incorporating your ‘Firecracker’ into a flower bed where it can take centre stage! It enjoys semi shade to grow and will remain easy to care for all year round. Pot up Polyanthus plants and grow them on for transplanting at a later date. Grow plug plants in bright, frost-free conditions, watering sparingly until they are fully rooted in. When all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise polyanthus plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days, prior to planting out in their final positions.
