Philadelphus ‘Belle Etoile’Philadelphus ‘Belle Etoile’ blooms from May until July, it creates bundles of beautiful fresh white flowers that are centred with a pale lilac – they contrast well against its deep green glossy leaflets. It makes a superb specimen shrub due to its attractive appearance but would also sit well in a traditional cottage or woodland gardening scheme for that classic look.‘Belle Etoile’ is simple to care for and grows best when placed in a semi shaded spot. It has a restrained growing habit, which makes it perfect for larger sized gardens so it can thrive in a spacious position – Moch orange is a deciduous shrub that naturally takes centre stage from early Summer and enjoys showing off its aromatic flowers. Grow Philadelphus plants in a sunny or semi shaded position, in any well drained soil. Prior to planting, incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil. Plant Mock Orange plants at the same depth as they were planted in their pots. Backfill the planting hole and water well to settle the soil.
