‘Giant Leaved Mix’ is a wonderful new Hosta series, that incorporates three fabulous varieties. All adored for their large, vibrant leaflets, they are perfect for using as attractive ground cover, work well in patio pots and sit well in coastal, woodland and wildlife gardening schemes. Happy to progress in dappled shade, watch them flourish to a maximum height of 100cm, along with a maximum spread of 120cm. Grow Hosta plants in sun or dappled shade, on rich, moist, well-drained soil. Plants can grow well in a sunny border, but will need to be kept reliably moist. Plants may perform better on slightly acid soils. Before planting, work some fresh compost or general fertiliser into the top 20cm of the soil. Alternatively plant Hostas in patio containers in soil based compost such as John Innes No. 3.
