This innovative tree is super compact, yielding a harvest of delicious fruits in a small area, even at a young age. Pear ‘Wonder Tree Conference’ can even be grown in a large container on a balcony or terrace.

Pear ‘Wonder Tree Conference’ requires little maintenance, remaining compact throughout its life so almost no pruning is required! Simply pinch the tips of the newly grown shoots several times with your thumb and forefinger in the spring and the tree will remain in shape.

The Wonder Tree range of fruit trees includes the very best fruit tree varieties, carefully selected for their flavour, disease resistance, hardiness and ease of cultivation. Plant pear trees in any well drained soil in a sheltered sunny position. Prior to planting, incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost into the planting hole and drive the stake into the ground to support the tree. Staking after planting may result in damage to the root ball. Plant fruit trees at their original soil level and firm them into the ground. Fasten the tree to the stake using a tree tie, and water well. Pears will produce the best crops when planted near to another pear tree to increase pollination.
