This stunning Dwarf Horse Chestnut, is much loved for its vibrant green foliage and dwarf growing habit. From May until July, you will witness bundles of spiky white flowers, that each feature vibrant red stamens. Easy to care for and happy to progress in semi shade, be sure to incorporate into woodland and wildlife gardening schemes, as well as using as a striking specimen shrub. It will develop in height to 3m and will spread to around 5m. Member of the ‘horse chestnut’ family but much more dwarf in habit as a deciduous shrub/ small tree, but does need space. Hardy, deciduous with palmate bronze leaves turning green and finally to yellow in autumn. Grow Horse Chestnut trees in any well drained soil. Choose a position in full sun or semi shade.
