This intriguing Forest Cactus boasts fresh green, fleshy foliage that is flat and spine free. Throughout the Spring it produces bundles of baby pink flowers, that add extra interest and contrast wonderfully against its trailing form. Ideal for hanging up high in a contemporary home or conservatory, be sure to position in semi shade where it can mature to a height of 120cm, along with a spread of 30cm.
Place Lepismium bolivianum in a bright spot with plenty of natural light but out of direct sunlight. Water when the top of the compost dries out, allowing any excess to drain away. Reduce watering in autumn or winter but don’t allow it to dry out completely. Avoid humid environments such as bathrooms. Keep at 18-24?C.
